Before you book

Questions, answered clearly.

The important parts of booking with Pro Ride, without hunting through small print.

How much deposit do I pay?

If you choose Cash, fares up to £250 use a booking deposit of £25 each way — £25 for a one-way booking or £50 for a return. For fares above £250, the deposit is 25% of the fare.

How can I pay?

You can normally choose Cash or Pay online. Cash means you pay the required booking deposit online to secure the booking, then pay the remaining balance in cash under the collection rule for your journey. Pay online means you settle the full journey fare securely online at checkout.

What happens to the remaining balance on a cash booking?

For a one-way booking, the amount left after the booking deposit is paid in cash to your driver at pickup. For a return booking with 13 days or less between the outbound and return pickup dates, the remaining cash for both legs is paid to the outbound driver at the outbound pickup. If the return is 14 days or more later, each leg is paid separately to the driver doing that journey.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booked travel time are non-refundable. Earlier cancellations can be reviewed in line with the booking terms that apply to your journey.

Do I need an app for live tracking?

No. When live tracking is enabled, you can open a secure Pro Ride journey link from your message or email. The customer app can connect to the same journey in future, but it is not required.

Which vehicle option should I choose?

Choose based on passenger numbers, luggage and the experience you want. ProRideX, ProRideEstate, ProRideXL, ProRideExec and ProRideXXL cover different space and comfort needs. We confirm the appropriate option for the journey rather than promising a specific make or model.

Can I book a return airport transfer?

Yes. Return bookings are handled as linked outbound and return journeys so each leg can keep its own pickup time, driver assignment and journey status while remaining part of the same booking.

Which airports do you cover?

Pro Ride serves major UK airports including Manchester, Leeds Bradford, East Midlands, Birmingham, Liverpool, Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as other pre-booked destinations across the UK.
